Staff were really helpful and friendly, speaking some English. The backyard cooking area and patio were nice to sit in and to have a look at with other travellers from around the world. Computer access was much appreciated. Location is near to needed amenities--post office, grocery store, bus station, cafes, etc. The front bedroom was spacious and, in spite of no windows, the fan was adequate to keep down heat and cool the room for sleeping. Duna, the resident dog.

Manager was very friendly and helpful in directing my friend to a eating spot with vegetarian dishes. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The decoration and setup of the hostel was very nice, artistic and a welcome change to all the hostels and cabanas I stayed in at the same price range.

The hostel is really clean compared to Costa Rican standarts. The rooms are nicely furnished and quite spacious for dormrooms. The dog Luna is the first dog we&'ve met in Costa Rica that was kept clean and is a joy to play with. The eating area is a great place to get to know other people and chat about their travels.

THE LOCATION IS VERY CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT AND VERY WELL SITUATED IN ALAJUELA, NEAR SHOPS AND ATTRACTIONS. EVERYONE IS NICE AND VERY HELPFUL.
