Within walking distance of anything you would need in Heredia Centro. Banks, Restaurants, Bars, Super Market, Post Office, etc. All of the busses stop only a few blocks away, making it extremely easy to get around. Rooms and bathroom were clean, typical for CR electric showers, and also the kitchen had everything we needed, including condiments and ice. We stayed for a few days past our booking and also the owner gave us a discount rate. Wireless worked fantastic in room and throughout hostel.

Quiet and relaxing, clean, huge kitchen area and tons of room for lounging. In case you need a location to catch your breathe, do laundry washing and research this is it! Owner was very helpful with getting my lost luggage from the airline and his nephew was helpful and enjoyable throughout my 3 day stay. Great English skills and that is certainly a bonus! Very best mattress I have ever slept on in a hostel.

The hostel was clean and calm. close to the action but not trampled by it. The owner and workers were the jewels though. The owner, Ana, picked me up from the airport, gave me a walking tour of the town-where she was very popular, took me to the weekend market where she does her shopping for her cafe, and introduced me to many locals. The other worker, Gloria, has helped me look for a job and find a place to rent.
