Very warm and friendly family who runs this hostel! Helpful in booking tours. Lockers located in room. Nice bathrooms - private bathroom for dorms. Communal kitchen, free wifi.

This hostel is great value for money. The rooms and bath rooms were clean and kept nicely. There was a pretty breakfast included of fresh fruit, eggs and bread. The location is decent, straightforward to walk to the central town. The hostel also offers a great selection of excursions/activities. The owners were all lovely, and especially helpful when I arrived right after having had my passport and other belongings stolen on the journey to Monteverde.

Jocelin was really helpful with planning activities, and they make you a HUGE breakfast (fruit, coffee, tea, toast, eggs), so nice! Pretty nearby to Santa Elena along with the park. All the activities I did picked up right at the hostel for no charge.

The owner lives on premises. It is situated close to, but no in, the downtown area. So, it is quieter but just a three minute walk to all of the facilities and restaurants of the town.
