I ve stayed in many hostels across Europe recently and Villa Skansi is my favorite so far. The employees and owners( Matko and Julia) are genuine, warm and friendly and very helpful. They provided me with much information including how to uncover the greatest beaches, and where the greatest places to eat and drink are. You can rent scooters, The Dorms are immaculate and secure, There s a bar on the hostels sun terrace, also, the other travelers I met were a calm bunch and a great laugh. See you all next year I hope!

I ve stayed in a lot of hostels across Europe recently and Villa Skansi is my favorite so far. The staff and owners( Matko and Julia) are genuine, friendly and very helpful. They provided me with much information including how to find the top beaches, and where the top places to eat and drink are. You can rent scooters, The Dorms are immaculate and secure, There s a bar on the hostels sun terrace, also, the other visitors I met were a calm bunch and a very good laugh. People are great, we had such a great time! They made really great atmostphere on their terace (with BEAUTIFUL VIEW! ) We rented scooters from them and made a tour around Hvar, that was really funny! Hostel is very clean and I liked two kitchens which you can use! The most effective thing is- web is for free! That really saved me money! ;) I also liked the location simply because everything is close-beach, bars, primary square, supermarket. I would recommend this hostel to everyone, you wont regret it!

This is the top hostel ever! Im definitley coming back next year! The location is so clean and I LOVED the bathroom showers! I even had my own locker so I could put all my items on a secure place! The owners are fantastic (you have to try Matkos homemade wine! ) and the staff was so funny and helpful! Location was fantastic too cuz everything is in a walking distance! Many thanks all for making the end of my trip so good!

This hostel is in a great location as well as the employees are great- they personally addressed me by my name each time they saw me and helped me plan out my days. You can hire scooters and boats directly from the hostel and my day out on the water was definitely a highlight- the property owner even drives you down to the supermarket for you to pick up drinks and food, and he supplies an esky filled with ice, no cost of charge. Outstanding outdoor chillout area with a bar where you can meet other travellers. Highly recommend!
