Best location (20 minute walk to lakes, 2 minute drive) extremely nice host- drove us to lakes, extremely helpful very good breakfast- add price, but worth it!

From Villa Katja one can easily walk to st2 in 15 minutes. If you are planning on visiting Upper and Lower lake, this is the ideal place for you. The host and hostress are really helpful and friendly. We even got an ride from the host to entrance 1 on our second day. The only thing to watch out for is that there are 4 bus stops in Plitvice. You need to tell the bus drive to stop at Mukinje. From there it&'s only 200m or 80 feet from the bus stop.

FABULOUS! Igor and his wife were so kind and inviting. we arrived quite late at night and Igor offered to meet us at the bus stop. we were visiting the park and were provided with maps and a suggested route which allowed us to avoid the flow of large groups. gorgeous house and yard and it was nice to stay with a family whilst nonetheless having privacy. definitely a highlight of our trip.

The employees were very useful and friendly, the place spotlessly clean, the beds comfy. The property owner even drove us and our bags to the entrance of the park which was great. Highly recommend!

MAria and her husband were so helpful, very friendly and gave us a lot of help on how to go about visiting the park. They even drove us to the other entrance on our second day. Extremely valuable local information Maria gave us. Property was near a supermarket, restaurant and is walking distance to the park entrance. Extremely clean and very huge room.
