The staff are incredibly knowledgable, and are willing to help their customers plan day trips or nights out. The environment is the greatest i have ever experienced at a hostel: the location (just outside of old town, in a great neighborhood), facilities (bar, clean washrooms, nice rooms) and staff all contribute to this. My second time back, and definitely not the last. When visiting the country again, I wont hesitate to begin and end my trip in Zadar largely due to the fact of the times I had.

Great hostel with a friendly staff. Close to the beach and at walking distance from the old town. One of the greatest hostels we ever been.

If you are looking to have a great time in Zadar the Drunken Monkey is the excellent location to stay! The employees are so kind, with out me even asking they refunded my money for a night I had already paid so I could go to one of the nationalk parks prior to I left Croatia! They are very knowledgable about Zadar and know all the greatest places for whatever your looking for Parying, food, Ice cream or just a nice palce to watch the sunset. It is only a 15 mintue walk along the beach from the place to the old town and olny 3 mintues from the bus station and a giant super market! I am sad I couldn&'t stay longer, I will make guaranteed to reccommend this location to anyone coming to Zadar!

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. The hostel had a very exceptional setting and they even had a pool. It is only a short walk along the coast to the centre. I would definitely suggest this hostel and I hope I can return again inside the future!

Staff were great, really helpful and excellent fun. The Krka trip is a must - swimming inside the waterfalls was amazing! Really excellent setting at the hostel, will definitely stay again if/when we go back to Zadar!

I found the staff very accomadating. even letting me use the facilities just before i checked in as I arrived quite early. the atmosphere was exceptional and welcoming. I would recommend staying here to all, be it single travelers, groups or families.
