Nice, warm and friendly and helpfull people. stunning view from the 2 balconies. The food at the Casa is much better than the food you get at the restaurents in Cienfuegos. I will suggest to phone the day prior to arrivel to confirm the reservattion.

Reinaldo and Yurisa were extremely warm and friendly and the room and food were excellent. Parking, although inside the street, was secure. The roof-top terrace has superb sights across the city. Although Reinaldo and Yurisa speak little English, their daughter is readily available by&' phone, and lives nearby, and her English is excellent.

Great room, outstanding location, outstanding staff, outstanding terrace, outstanding food.

We&'re an older couple (mid 50&'s) who stayed at a selection of Casas whilst traveling around Cuba. This Casa is clean with a private bathroom. Lots of hot water. Good Breakfast on the patio with a view of the city. There is certainly also an upper story patio with lounge chairs for suntanning, and an even outstanding view of the city. The Casa is about four blocks from the pedestrian mall - and another three blocks to the main square. It is in a safe area. We also had a dinner with our hosts - again, much more than enough food to eat. There is certainly a small school (40 students) who have developmental disabilities that is certainly visible from the patio. We watched the opening ceremonies for the day (raise the flag, etc) - and we went to the school and gave them pens, paper, etc which they were most appreciative to receive. (Being teachers, we brought a lot of that kind of stuff with us. ) The hosts were warm and friendly and helpful. Yurisa showed us the DVD (5 minutes) of what to see and do inside the Cienfuegos area. Her English is extremely good and she was helpful as were her parents - extremely early breakfast on the day we departed, called a taxi, ws helpful with information, etc, etc.

Room and bathroom are large, simple, clean, quiet. Refrigerator is availlable inside the room. Breakfast is good, rich and served on the roof terrasse with wunderful view over the city.
