Mylena and Otto are very helpful and kind. We were very nicely cared for and welcomed with tea or coffee. Breakfast was also excellent value && tasty. The apartment is very clean along with the room was pretty along with a pretty balcony.

Otto&& Mylena are extremely friendly, helpful and reliable. The breakfast on the balcony is great. Location is superb when you wish to escape from the busy Vieja.

We stayed with Mylena && Otto for 3 nights initially - we had the larger room, it was lovely. It had a comfortable double bed, TV, A/C (which we did not need), a ceiling fan, locked cupboard and opened onto a amazing terrace. Each Mylena && Otto were very useful to us and told us about the area and how to get around as properly as directions to local restaurants. Breakfast is 4 CUC per person and there was fruit, juice, toast, eggs, sausage, tea, coffee. Mylena also took care of our laundry while we were out and about which was very helpful. They were able to store our luggage for us when we went out to Santa Clara && Trinidad which was very helpful and we then returned for our final night in Havana Overall a gorgeous location to stay in the Vedado area, it is close to Calle 23 which has a lot of collectivo taxis as properly as the Havana tour bus which we used to get to the Old Havana area. It cost about 20 CUC to get to the airport by taxi.

We stayed here for 6 nights and it is an outstanding place to stay. 25-30 mins taxi from the airport, inside the leafy suburbs of Havana. Effortless to get into town via collectivo (very cheap) or taxi. both otto and Mylena are really welcolming and helpful in orientating your self in this busy city. Otto speaks really very good English which helps with any queries you may have. There are also a few very good local restaurants within walking distance which Otto can tell you about. The place itself is a 3rd floor apartment, 2 double rooms which are rented out with a shared bathroom in between the two. One of the rooms (the one we stayed) in has a private balcony which has very good sights and a pretty place to sit. It is the ideal place to come back to after a day discovering around town (which is quite dusty and noisy) with fresh air. Brekfast is provided in case you want it but fine in case you don&'t. Comfy bed and room light, airy and clean. can&'t recomend it enough.

We all loved the location - from the busy streets in Old Havana, but close enough to get to with ease. Taxi&'s are easy, low price and plentiful. The taxi rate we paid was always in between 5 - 8 cucs from Otto and Mylena&'s to Old Havana. The rooms are large, the beds comfy. Everything spotless. the patio is huge and a lovely way to spend the morning. The breakfast within the morning was good. I would most certainly recommend Otto and Mylena&'s spot to my buddies and household and if I make my way back to Havana again, I will stay with them! They are lovely people, extremely kind and helpful.

What a great way to begin our travels in Cuba. Each Otto and Mylena are warm and authentic. We loved the location allowing us to be away from &"tourism central&" and to have a glimpse into the daily lives of Habaneros. Otto encouraged us to attend an Industriales ball game; a highlight of our time in Habana. We appreciated the lovely breakfasts as well. They have a great network of other casa particulare owners as well.

We liked our stay with Otto and Mylena really much. It was our first introduction to Cuba and casa particulares, and we were really happy with our experience. Otto and Mylena were welcoming and took the time to answer our a lot of questions. They provided a fantastic and reasonably priced breakfast, and we enjoyed eating on the balcony watching the sunrise. On Valentines Day when all of the eating places were full, they kindly let us use their cooking area to warm up our left overs from the night before. The casa is located in charming Vedado, minutes away from the Malecon and easily accessible to downtown Havana. It was exceptional to have the chance to live in this neighborhood for four days whilst discovering Havana.

This was a beautiful stay all around! Mylena and Otto are a beautiful couple who welcomed us in to their fourth floor apartment. The space is clean, brilliantly furnished with antique furniture and a huge balcony that overlooks the city and also the water. The location is just out of the old city--which is a great plus. The old city, while fascinating and fascinating, is really loud and smells strongly of petrol. In Vedado, the air is cleaner, the vicinity safer, and also the streets quieter. It is a fast 1 peso shared taxi ride into the city. TOTALLY WORTH IT! Mylena and Otto each speak English well, and were extremely helpful in suggesting food, music, and touring spots. They served delicious breakfasts on the balcony with heavenly coffee (our favourite portion of our days in Havana! ) The bathroom is clean, and also the shower has hot water. They even let us use their telephone for a few local calls and lent us an up-to-date Lonely Planet-Cuba.

Great location in residential area, the owners are nice and helpful and rooms are great.
