Carlos was very helpful and friendly, doesnt speak much english so a fantastic place to practice our spanish. He provided alot of food, along with the rooms were quite big and ensuit. In case you book a casa in advance, get a map and work out exactly where it is, dont follow people when you get off the bus as they will take you somewhere else saying that either the one you booked is theirs, or is full and you have to stay at theirs instead.

Don&'t book this casa paticulare via the internet. We did for christmas 2009 and paid 10% in advance, but when we arrived they had made a dobbelbooking.

We had the most remarkable stay here. The hosts Carlos and Mercedes are so pretty and generous. we ate like kings, slept like babies and loved Trinidad. A wonderful way to meet locals and sleep in a really comfortable and secure casa. Even the language barrier was not a problem!
