They were very useful and welcoming. Our room was a bit small but there was another room across the terrace that looked bigger. The patio was lovely and there was a room to covered room with chairs where we could read while it was raining (thundering actually! ). We ended up with ants in our room one night, but that is just an unfortunate side effect of houses inside the tropics.

Fantastic place. Excellent for a enchanting holiday or for somebody which is looking for peace and quiet. The map in Hostelbookers is inaccurate but when we got our of the bus, somebody from the casa was waiting for us with our names on a paper. This was the very best casa on our trip to Cuba: impeccably clean, noiseless and everybody was really friendly. We have fresh towels every day and fresh linen every 3 days. We had our meals at the house most of the time - the dinners and breakfast were delicious, fresh and served in a gorgeous patio under the stars. And contrary to other casas we never felt any pressure to have our food there. Amazing value for money!

I have had a very very good time with this family. Extremely warm and friendly and willing to explain a lot about Cuba. Good food and a stunning house. It was great!

My partner and I had an awesome stay in Hostal Colonial Las Margaritas in March this year. Our bedroom was extremely comfy with a large bathroom. There is a lovely courtyard for breakfast and dinner, and the food was fantastic. This was the extremely best Casa we stayed in while in Cuba!

Very nice family! Outstanding relaxing atmosphere. Nice patio. Great breakfast and diner. Advice: bicycle rent in center of Trinidad: 3 cuc a day and bicycle to the beach. Ask Junio. Would stay again

Junio and his household were lovely. The whole household were extremely welcoming (all four generations) and made us feel at home whilst leaving us to do our own thing so it did really feel like it was our home. The court yard at the back was wonderful as we had a lot of personal space plus also meant that we could relax outside our room. The home is not in the town center but it is less than a few mins walk away - the town is so small! We extended our stay here as we liked the location so much and raved on about the location to many other travellers we met in Cuba. The food here was wonderful and remarkable value, this was the top casa we stayed in Cuba and looking back we would have extended our stay even more
