Chili Hostel

Ideally situated just south of Old Town Square, it was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Chili Hostel during my trip to Prague. Being January at the time of my visit, I knew it would be cold, but the Chili Hostel/room was warm and the water was often hot. Despite expecting the worst when we were handed our own bed bed linen to put on, the room (private double) was relatively clean, a nice size and the beds were really comfortable. We have an en suite shower and toilet in the bedroom, which was an added bonus that we were not expecting. Pretty friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

Kitchen was alright along with the location was a 5 minute walk from the river which was cool.

Cheap and fairly very good value. Good chilled out atmosphere. Beds werent too bad and were provided with clean linen and towels.

We were lucky with this hostel as me and my friend were in the same room as four other English girls who we got on really properly with and went out with, so I think it was them that made us appreciate our stay so much, otherwise the hostel could have been pretty shit. Lockers provided, but have to give deposit for a lock. Numerous computers, so getting on the web is pretty easy. Quite near to tram stops, so getting about it also fairly simple. Kitchen is provided, though we didn't use it. Lots of maps and pamphlets offered at reception to help you decide how to spend your stay.
