Was like staying at a friend&'s house. Really friendly, beautiful house. Good kitchen. Helpful owners. Cute dogs. 10 minute walk from La Mariscal but it&'s nice to be in a silent area.

It was a pleasing stay. The owner was ok, no much more no less. The dogs were really warm and friendly along with the garden was really good.

Absolutely loved this place! The house is beautiful, great location in quiet neighborhood. Kitchen, garden and individuals were very nice.

La Casona de Mario was a great place for an extended stay in Quito. The rooms are clean and the double room was a good size. The kitchen, although small, is well stocked and good for cooking, which was great for us as we were in Quito for 3 weeks so didn't want to eat out all the time. There's a supermarket 1 block away, the property is incredibly secure, and it's close enough to the new town that you can walk there (though not at night) but you're not right in the middle of the Mariscal area.

La Casona de Mario was a great place for an extended stay in Quito. The rooms are clean and also the double room was an excellent size. The kitchen, although small, is nicely stocked and good for cooking, which was great for us as we were in Quito for 3 weeks so didn&'t want to eat out all of the time. There&'s a market place 1 block away, the property is incredibly secure, and it&'s close enough to the new town that you can walk there (though not at night) but you&'re not right within the middle of the Mariscal area.

Safely situated in La Floresta area. Quiet and layed back hostel. If you are travelling single, small chance you might link up with others. Warm water and towel. La Mariscal location is walking distance. Owner (Mario) can arrange you a taxi to airport (you pay taxi driver).
