Positive: Has a nice bar and a restaurant. Good location and clean room. Negative: Paid for a so called deluxe room and got an ordinary room on the sixth floor without a working elevator. Lots of moscitos and noisy. Wifi only within the lobby and only one computer for far more than 50 rooms.

This is an old building with lots of character - but provides a wonderful bar and real genuine Egyptian hospitality - I extremely recommend it!

It's location is quite good, close to the subway Ataba, the busiest July 26th street, and also in the walking distance to khan al khalili. But the hotel is quite old, so you can imagine the facility and the room.

Windsor hotel has an old, colonial class that is unbeatable. It's also rather central in Cairo.

This is easily the very best budget hotel in Cairo - the employees and environment make it an expertise in itself and it remains hassle no cost and laid-back, with everything anyone would need - including an awesome bar!
