It looked nice from the outside but when l went in side i said oh no!

The greeting we got on arrival was extremely welcoming, beds were comfortable, nice clean sink in room and bathroom had a bath also a shower, kettle in rooms and tea/sugar/milk, I will absolutely be going back to this Hotel, the shops are only a short hop away. Also the heating in the rooms kept us snug and cosy.

When me and my partner( young couple) arrived at the black diamond we were greeted by the property owner who made us feel extra welcome by knowing who we were before we had a chance to introduce ourselfs. He then gave us a tour of the building and showed us to our room! he also gave us the opportunity to pay later once we had a chance to settle in and uncover our new surroundings which i found ever helpful and this also showed that there was an element of trust. The owner also went out his way to offer any extra&'s at no charge such as plates, forks and towels ! THE ROOM (small double)- the room was indeed small but ideal for a couple and really cosy! the decore made the room look nice and freash! Contained a tv and freeview box, tea making facilities and a wash basin. THE TOILET FACILITIES(SHARED)- the toilet was of decent size and was really clean. it contained two showers and a bath and also toilet and wash basin ! the only time this toilet was not upto the usual standards was when someone had a shower and didnt clean up behind them which is one of the downsides of a shared bathroom. Location- this hotel is great for all items in blackpool slightly closer to central pier and north shore. also has access to a shop/off liecense (across the road). Would like to also say that alot of reviews left by previous guest i feel are unfair for 12pn you get exactly what you pay for and more! the property owner is such a pretty man and went out his way to make us feel welcome.

The hotel was appropriate if you are going with a group of friends. Showers were hot, employees were friendly and you could come and go any time you please at night. At 15 pounds a night, it is really excellent value for money.

The location is extremely good. The room was small and basic, but extremely clean. Employees were friendly and helpful

The host is a brilliant man and was very friendly and approachable. He made us feel very welcome throughout our stay and provided helpful tips about events in our location and which places of interest we should visit.
