Lovely owner Steve really made our stay and is nicely connected; he called ahead to check the menu and book us a table at the victory bar close by (owned by his friends) and food was AMAZING and fantastic value!, he arranged a surf lesson for me with his friend from a super surf school the next morning and he let me shower and change inside the hostel soon after surfing, even though we had checked out by then. Lovely, accommodating guy, extremely suggest :) breakfast self service with lots of cereal, yogurt, fruit and good size cooking area so could do yourself a fry up too in case you wanted!

It was extremely comfortable and I couldn&'t have asked for a far better service. The owners were kind, friendly and happy to help at anytime. They made us really feel at home. I will definitely be staying there again when I go back to Cornwall. The region suits me and it was beautiful.

The environment was really calm and fitting for Porthtowan, as properly as the property owner Steve was extremely helpful in advising us on local activities and amenities, and kindly let us borrow an OS map for some hikes along the coast. The breakfasts were excellent and generous, the cooking area (stocked with tea and coffee) was handy as properly as the hostel ran smoothly without a long list of rules and regulations. There was no cost parking right across the street, and a local shop with food etc. right near to the hostel. I would extremely recommend, for convenience, value and most of all, enjoyable hosts.

In a great location on a gorgeous beach with great cliff top walks nearby. Hostel is clean and friendly in a great little village.
