Porthtowan Backpackers is just a few steps away from the beach && cliffs. Inside the middle of a extremely quite village (at least in November). Steve && Jane made us feel at home extremely quickly, and were extremely helpfull in making our stay to the best. They made us almost feel portion of the family for a couple of days :) Steve was full of tips && stories about the region. We are missing the chats at breakfast inside the flower shop ;) Thanks Steve && Jane!

Steve is absolutely great and full of lots of information - it really made a difference having a host who genuinely wanted to meet his guests, make sure that everything was ok, and offer as much help as he can to make our stay as good as possible. The surf lesson with Spence was great fun, and Porthtowan a lovely part of the world that I am looking forward to returning to. and when I do, I'll stay at Porthtowan Backpackers again! Thanks so much Steve.

Amazing warm and friendly people, fantastic advice and generally being very nice. Having wifi, common area. Near to beach, recommend going to Blue Bar for food or a drink
