Stayed in the 21 bed dorm which was in the rafters, brilliant little individual beds, like being in a giant wendy house, fantastic fun! Really outstanding breakfast from 7. 30 until 10am. In home resturant had nice selection of dishes.

Clean beds. Really clean bathroom although it&'s shared. Breakfast is normal but have a very good choice of drink. Web connect in room is bad have to go to common area, but hostel present no cost use of computers. Location is not central, is a very good location if you like to check out camden marketplace as it&'s walkable distant. Pretty near the london tube.

Great location -- brief walk from tube station/bus stop, close to Primrose Hill and Hampstead; Breakfast -- exceptional quality and varied by hostel standards; Facilities -- a lot of showers/toilets available, restaurant/bar on site, lovely lounge; Employees -- professional and helpful; Beds -- lockers under bed, useful reading lamps and curtains for each bed.

I liked almost everithing about palmers lodge swiss cottage. it was my first time in a hostel in England and i really appreciated it. I&'ve been there for 3 weeks and if i come back to London i will stay there again. Cleanliness was the first thing i noticed. showers and toilets are cleaned 4 or 5 times daily; continental breakfast is no cost and it&'s ok : coffee, tea, cappuccino, apple or orange juice, cornflakes, porridge, bread, croissants, jam and butter! In my case (woman travelling alone) the best thing was that i felt really safe there. I had slept in numerous different rooms and they seemed all nice (curtains on each bed it&' s a fantastic idea! ) The employees is very helpfull and friendly.

I travel to London from Bath for business regularly and always CHOOSE to stay at Palmers. It&'s the most clean hostel I&'ve stayed at anywhere inside the world. The employees are lovely, helpful and know London extremely well. The bar downstairs is inexpensive, the food hearty and inexpensive as properly as the all you can eat continental breakfast is ideal just before a full day&'s work. The tube is a 3 minute walk from the front door - 10 minutes ride to central London. And I meet fantastic people there too! :)

I&'d like to thank Bel in paricular as she was really helpful for me))) Thanks Bel! I kept asking lots of inquiries as it was my first trip to the country and she was patient, polite and so nice to me)) I liked the setting of the hostel, individuals around were friendly and also the stuff helpful. I&'d definitey suggest this place nad hope to get back soon

I like that it has such a homely feel. The bathrooms are modern and clean along with the spot generally feels cared for. I stayed at Palmers Lodge for quite a whilst a few months ago and they&'ve since renovated all of the basement level bathrooms. The rooms are comfortable along with the curtains around the beds give you that bit of privacy making it really feel a little less like a hostel.
