I was treated very friendly. I booked through hostelbookers. com, including deposit, and showed up on a rainy Thursday afternoon. The hotel staff was very nice in breaking the bad news: my deposit never went to the hotel, it had been under new ownership for several months, and the new hotel did not have business relations with hostelbookers. I hope to get a refund of my deposit for a service I never used, but I've yet to hear back from hostelbookers. com. They did, however, send me this lovely link asking me to review my stay at this hotel. So there you have it; no complaints to the hotel, just the reservations website.

The private wee cooking area was ace. the location was very very good too, near to the tube and lots of nice eating places

Good location, close to the tube station and close to shops/restaurants in Earls Court. Comfy beds. Good for self catering if that's what you want.
