Nice, quite and leafy location situated near the metrolink but away from the city noise. reception was extremely helpful with providing information on the area. would definetely stay here again if i returned to manchester.

The deal we got was incredibly good value for money. The bnb itself was exquisite - clean and attractive and very cheap! Seriously no complaints here - we were a lot more than pleased with the room, and both staff and other guests kept entirely to themselves so there&'s little to comment about there. I guess our only gripe would be about the strange opening hours the Ascott has on a Sunday - we were unable to book in among 1 and 5, which might be problematic for some. Aside from that it was great. The surrounding location was, however, slightly a lot more problematic. Whilst the street the bnb is in looks fine, the walk to the tram takes you through a rather dodgy neck of the woods, and if you want to get a local bite to eat the top we could uncover inside walking distance was the Morrissons (a supermarket) cafeteria. Local pubs looked both unsanitary and unsavory. If location isn&'t an issue for you or you have your own car, I would definitely suggest them, and would go back again.

Peaceful vicinity and from the busy city. Excellent location to rest if one wish to see Manchester differently.
