Safe, secure. Great no cost wifi, helpful staff. Properly located. Free bread + hot drinks 24 hours a day. this is not a party hostel. The hatters hostel on newton st is the party one.

This hostel is in a fantastic location and inside walking distance of most parts of the city. The employees are really helpful and friendly.

The employees were generally quite nice and helpful. We went on a bar crawl with the hostel staff, and although it was sort of ad-hoc and it seemed as if they didn&'t always know exactly where they were going, we had a excellent time.

Lots of open space in rooms, not crammed into a tiny space. Very good sized cooking area with no cost brekky.

The hostel is quite centrally located to shops, Manchester centre and Piccadilly train station. The staff were helpful in explaining directions to me. No cost wireless - although it only works around reception and inside the kitchen.

Everything was great! It was so far the nicest hostel I have stayed in. There was a great atmosphere, the staff was welcoming and helpful. The location was far more than ideal. If i&'m going back to Manchester I&'ll definitly come back to the Hatters et Hilton Chambers!
