The only bad thing about my encounter was it was too brief (I stayed only one night) but was so impressed by this hostel. The staff were so friendly and accomodating, and the rooms were really clean and safe. Highly recommended.

Great location, helpful staff, the room was also extremely nice. We stayed in a private room which was just what we were looking for this price, even better. No bad points to say at all. Will stay here again when back in Manchester!

The location of Hatters is perfect, right inside the dead center of city center, effortless access to all kinds of transportation, brilliant for tourists. Their toilets were pretty good, regularly cleaned and never really had any problems with them. 24/7 Tea or Coffee is supplied. Wi-fi is almost accessible throughout the entire building, I even had it in my room. Beds were clean and comfy.

Not too loud yet not too quiet. Hustle and bustle if that&'s what you&'re following but no large noisy parties. Very clean, I had a bathroom in the dorm so I can&'t comment about the communal bathroom. Breakfast included, clean well stocked cooking area and coffee/tea/hot chocolate accessible all day. Centrally located.
