Newcastle is an expensive spot to stay for backpackers, and this place, although expensive, does include a cooked breakfast, which was nice. It does not however, include free wifi, which I think it should, given the high price. You should also be aware that in case you are not a member of YHA, you will have to pay a 3 pound surcharge on top of your booking! On the plus side, this spot is spotlessly clean, the staff are very friendly, and you can store your stuff safely with them.
