When I first read the reviews, I was not sure to stay there. But when I got to my/our room, it was perfectly new and clean. Even the bathroom was new. The owner told me that he is going to renovate room by room. The new rooms are really comfortable and even have a TV. Furthermore Breakfast was included inside the cost and you could even order english breakfast. Really good!

Cheap for one night or two in Oxford, clean bed linen and room. free Wireless and parking around the back even though you may get blocked in and it may be full if returning late !

It was relatively clean and comfortable. nice atmosphere. literally didn&'t see any one else there the three nights we stayed. Comfy, warm beds. Goood location, right next to the bus stops.

It was an basic walk into central Oxford, it&'s actually really quite close, plus there are busses that come all the time and a night bus in case you need it. My friend and I were really just looking for somewhere to sleep as we were visitng friends, so we didn&'t spend much time inside the guesthouse at all. I would say that you get what you pay for with this place. If all you want is a functional private room then this is perfect.

It was an straightforward walk into central Oxford, it&'s actually really quite close, plus there are buses that come all the time and a night bus in case you need it. My friend and I were really just looking for somewhere to sleep as we were visitng friends, so we didn&'t spend much time in the guesthouse at all. I would say that you get what you pay for with this place. If all you want is a functional private room then this is perfect.

It&'s amazingly affordable and a amazing location. Let&'s be honest - in a really expensive city what would you expect for the price! The bonus of parking, location, DOUBLE locks on the doors all made it a amazing stay, and breakfast. there aren&'t several places in such an expensive city to stay that are such very good value. YES the decoration is old, YES the rooms need updating, but you get what you pay for, and in my opinion, a lot, lot more. Don;t expect the ritz - but then why complain. you haven;t paid for it!

The location was fairly good; a 1 mile (20 minute) walk in to the town centre. The breakfast was of a great quality and the room of reasonable size.
