We each liked the conventional feel of the property in an idyllic place for the price. With use of snorkeling and kayaking equipment, pool, other no cost activities and beach.

Very remote which can be nice if that&'s what you want :) the staff are extremely warm and friendly and are always around. Breakfast is no cost and extremely lovely, pineapple is wonderful and average water melon and occasionally banana, toast and cereal. Frogs jump around during the night time and ads atmosphere, having your own bure was cute!

Loved the employees as nicely as the feeling that we were staying in a &"real Fiji&" resort. There is certainly no need to go five star when there are places like Mango Bay Resort. Loved our &"Fiji Love Shack&" - traditional bure with a private outdoor shower. It was extremely clean and had a lock box for our valuables. The pool was ideal and right on the beach - hard to decide on exactly where to go so we parked our sun beds among the two and could decide on exactly where we went swimming. Also appreciated the huge trees to hid under when the sun was out. The food was amazing, huge portions and exceptional value - individuals from much more expensive resorts were coming here for &"real food at a reasonable price&". The resort is down a dirt road, although not having a car isn&'t a problem the MBR team will come pick you up from the main road. The local busses are freqent and low priced as as nicely as the taxi&'s are really resonable too, Our driver who took us on to Natandola was called Jacob, he had airconditioning and a exceptional sound system. I also really liked that there were no children on site. Geoff and I really needed a break and as much as I love the household resorts been able to read a book in peace was ideal.

Very nice backpacker resort. Good restaurant with a nice view on the gorgeous sunset. The staff is extremely nice but sometimes seem not to be able to give you proper information about some activities. the dorms are extremely nice, clean and fan cooled. the beach is small but gorgeous along with the water is crystal clear and you have no cost snorkeling gear! Special: if you are 2 up to 4 individuals book the lodge on hostelbookers and you will be up-graded to the safari cabin which is much better!

It had some entertainment though there is no shops near buy so basics could not be brought for exaple sunscreen or crisps. When we arrived we got up-graded though the room needed some TLC, we got given towels and soaps and shampoo which was cool as we are backpackers so that was a little deluxe but the towles were dirty. The food at the resort was good!

Nice beach, there actually present you with everything. Food, pool, activities, beach, . Travelling on Fiji is a little bit exotic, simply because of the bad roads, old buses and huge distances (Mango resort is inside the middle among Nadi and Suva).

We met some great buddies here and that is one of the only reasons why we stayed on. A couple of the employees are outstanding. The lodging is properly spread around the park.
