Very nice old-style climber&'s guesthouse with a perfect personnel. Calm place, warm and friendly visitors, good cooks. 10 mins on foot from the center of Chamonix (cable-way stations, train stations, alpine equipment shops etc. ). Outstanding location for sleeping just before and after hike or climb. Don&'t forget, that the weather is extremely essential for climb, and be ready to stay near the mountain for a week or two. Have a nice weather!

The facilities are basic but clean and there are not numerous places in ski resorts exactly where you can stay for this sort of price. Having a cooking area available was a boon and presented very good opportunities to meet other travellers.

Friendly and helpful staff, card given to customers which gives access to no cost transport among different ski areas, good value for money, can enter hostel 24hours a day.

It was extremely very good value for money. We stayed only one night, arrived late and left early so all we really wanted was a bed and we got accommodation for a great price!
