The location was excellent! A two minute walk from everything along with the owner was extremely nice and full of ideas of what you could do on your stay in Nice

The cooking area facility was definitely a bonus along with the environment created by the other travellers also. The location is absolutely brilliant and can not be knocked.

Private room with kitchen facilites on offer, private bathroom and excellent location. The location was different to the actual hostel, we were just off the key road, but its nonetheless really close to walk to the beach through the old town.

Hostel Smith is in an remarkable location, literally 500 m from the beach. If you are interested in somewhere very basic, it is very good. It is within the centre of the old town, a very lively and stunning area, with a fantastic ice cream parlour round the corner! Extremely warm and friendly roomies who were nearly all English speaking.

Hostel Smith is in an remarkable location, literally 500 m from the beach. If you are interested in somewhere really basic, it is really good. It is in the center of the old town, a really lively and picturesque area, with an excellent ice cream parlour round the corner! Extremely warm and friendly roomies who were nearly all English speaking.

It was a great location in Nice's old town. The kitchen facilities were good, and they had netbooks which were available for use (though the french keyboards were confusing! ). The staff and other guests were friendly.
