The Hotel Picard is situated in a beautiful, perfectly safe region of Paris surprisingly near the city centre. The village environment of le Marais shines through, and the wide selection of excellent, and extremely French, restaurants makes mealtimes a treat. There were extremely few visitors around, and we really felt we were getting a glimpse of true Paris. The hotel itself was clean functional and the most of the staff would do just about anything to help you. We felt that for Paris, it was great value. This is a excellent property for those who plan on only using the hotel to sleep in and eat near.

- Calmness; it is at a quite and restful place so you can have a very good sleep at night. - Cleanliness; The room, toilet and hallways are reasonably cleaned. - Heating; The heating is OK for a winter stay at the hotel. - Approach to metro; A metro stop (Republique) is nearby.

Our private room was very nice with own bath && toilet and large space for three travellers.

The employees was very nice and helpful. The location is in a quiet area. Just opposite, there is a little shop selling food and drinks and there are quite a few little restaurants, caf&es and bars in that area.

Nice an clean room with a washbasin in it. Close to Metro Temple and Republique and close to places to eat and to a lot of small shops. Nice environment in Les Marais. Will be far better when renovating of WC and shower and corridors to these are finished.

Location is not too bad, a few mins walk from a metro and not that far to walk to Centre Pompidou. There are little stores you can buy grocery and eat out.
