The location. The fact it&'s in the middle of Montmartre compensates for the mediocre services.

Free wireless was excellent and it was pretty clean for a hostel. It&'s also handy having an en-suite in every single room.

Free breakfast, though basic, is extremely welcome! If it wasn&'t for the dislikes (which affected my opinion on the stay), this would rate far better for me.

Free and simple internet access and an superb location in the heart of Paris. front desk employees were also very helpful with directions. the bathroom was contemporary and offered sufficient privacy.

Great Location, basically a block from the Moulin Rouge. 10 min walk to Sacre Coeur. Very good bars and overall secure location, but always be aware as there are some dark alleys. Great atmosphere: Just enough traffic to meet new people but not too busy to wait in line forever. No cost net was a plus and also the service was clear and uninterrupted. Great Rooms. Clean, bath rooms were updated. Eating region was cramped but you can eat inside the upstairs lounge. Nicely decorated. Great Cost for the area. I stayed in places closer to Gard Du Nord and this was by far a far better deal.
