Cheap, really friendly service, no cost parking, easily accessible by car

Excellent reception with helpful and warm and friendly staff. outstanding english spoken. fantastic transport cafe to the rear, amazing menu for 7 euro and breakfast for 2 euro

(+) Clean, quiet, comfortable, free wireless (in the lobby), accommodating staff, cheap, very good breakfast (for a price). (-) Far far away. It will entail a 15-20 minute walk during week-ends when the busses go as far the stop situated in front of the hostel, small rooms & bathroom. Overall, worth-it!

INSTRUCTIONS TO HOTEL: From main train station "Gare Rennes" take the bus line 11 in the direction Z. I. Sud Est and get off at the stop Breil. It costs 1. 20 for a ticket. Please note that the bus only runs until around 8. 00 at night, after this there are some buses, but they stop about 4 stops beforehand leaving about a 10 min walk to the hotel. REVIEW: Hotel was clean and rooms has TV's although only CNN was in English. Breakfast could be purchased for an extra 7 euros. Free Wi-Fi available at the hotel, but no computers. Toilets were good although hot water seemed to run out quickly if 2 people were showering. For the price and a private room especially in France was good value. Rennes was a good place for a day trip to Mont St Michel also which is definitely recommended. NOTE: Staff only spoke minimal English, but there were no issues and seemed to have 24 hours reception as we arrived after midnight with no problems.
