Very warm and friendly employees (the owners), it is in the proximity to several bus stops and tram stops, at the same time as the S-bahn/U-bahn in Sch&onhauser Allee and the Bornholmer Strasse. Several cafees around in the warm and friendly and noiseless neighbourhood, a cornershop opposite of the hostel and much more. Not the busiest part of Berlin, which suited me and my girlfriend well. These parts of this great city is reachable inside 20 mins from the public transport system. Massive spacy room with okay beds! Several bathrooms (ask for them in case you can only find one, there are several at the second floor too! ), no curfew (of course), the employees let us store the luggage for no cost on our last day.

LOTS of fantastic stuff in Prenzlauerberg! One of the best neighborhoods in Berlin. Only 10 minutes walk from the U-Bahn.

Very calm with nice large ceilings in the rooms. Very chilled region in Prenzlauer Berg which is outstanding if you like the district and know Berlin well. Standard facilities etc. but outstanding value given how much you pay.

Friendly staff, two women (i think they own the place) really helpfull. Really clean, nice breakfast, 5 min walk to the metro station. Not a touristic place, so is really affordable to eat around the neighborhood.

The police guard was rather fun. Rival May Day political demonstrations were going on in Prenzlauer Berg, so we needed to walk round sidestreets and negotiate our way across cordons to reach the hostel. A street barrier ran directly outside the hostel door. But it all added to the character.
