The woman at the reception was really nice and helpful with everything. it was close to the tram station and only a 10-15min walk to the main train station.

It's riverside location and proximity to the old town thrust you right into the interesting bit of Cologne. It's also positioned above a Werder Bremen theme bar, which was a terrific old drinking haunt for football fans.
