Easily the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. The facility was in pristine condition with comfortable, clean rooms, and there were more resources and services than I knew what to do with (including a climbing wall and volleyball court) and also the employees was extremely warm and friendly and helpful. Also, upon checking in, you get a visitors pass for Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which entitles you to free use of the municipal bus system, entry to the wave pool, free guided tours. Really a nice perk. I also appreciated the fact that the hostel was working hard to have an ecologically warm and friendly facility. I would say this hostel is comparable, if not better, than numerous hotels that I've stayed in.
