Really fantastic atmosphere, felt like home. The girls dorm was clean and nice looking. It didn&'t have the institutional feel that a lot of hostels I&'ve stayed at had.

A very nice place: comfortable and nicely decorated rooms, really helpful and nice staff, great kitchens (upstairs: nice view to the Schloss! ), good coffee, free internet, great location.

This was BY FAR the greatest hostel we ever stayed at! Really really clean, tidy and organized, staff super nice and helpful, everything about it made you really feel at really really at home. It looks like a home. I could entirely move in there! Location is also really convenient, right in the historical centre just beside the path that leads up to the castle. I would reccomend this hostel to everybody going to Heidelberg. Actually, I would suggest going to Heidelberg and staying there to anyone looking for a few days away from the daily routine - in case you live in Germany - or anyone travelling to Europe looking for superb little places to know! Seriously. Go there.

Lotte was a really nice, small, quaint hostel. It had a cooking area as well as the individuals were really helpful. I would extremely recommend staying here in case you go to Heidelberg!

Everything - very near to the castle, nice rooms, very helpful employees (Carmen is great), free, internet, tea, cornflakes, nice living room.

It&'s really an excellent hostel. Ms Carmen is so warm and massive helpful to my vacation in Heidelberg. The room is extremely clean even it has 8 beds. The location is also good. I strongly recommend Lotte- The Backpackers to you!
