It is not a hostel so not somewhere to meet people. It is fantastic value, in an excellent location and right by an outstanding restaurant (Wirtshaus). The employees were also really helpful.

Fairly average room, but excellent for the low price I paid. I had booked a single and on arrival I asked to ensure it was a non-smoking room, so my room was changed. So I don't think I had a single as there were 2 single beds in my room - so it would have been handy if I was travelling with a mate and wanting to share the cost. Either way the room was basic, had a simple, but clean & functional ensuite bathroom & a small TV. My only gripe was that there was no iron or ironing board, although the very helpful staff may have got one for me if I had asked. But otherwise the room was very clean and comfortable! Its not like an ordinary hotel, as the reception is in a restaurant in the next building, so when they tell you the accomodation is near a clothing shop, don't wander across the road to a brightly lit clothing shop - its just 2 doors or so down past the restaurant. Top marks to the staff, very helpful with local infoThe included breakfast was quite good, basic, but enjoyable, with a few local dishes for those wanting the genuine german breakfast.
