This is the worst hostel I have ever been in. The dorms are not locked. No one is at the reception. There is a mess everywhere and dust. This hostel was unsafe and should not be up on hostel bookers!

A very casual and relaxed youth hostel, ideal location in walking distance from everything to see in Weimar. People very friendly. A little more rough and ready than most places, which may not be everybody's cup of tea, but good value for money. Showers leave a little to be desired, but overall a lovely experience.

Yes this hostel involves living it fairly rough but it had a lot of charm. It was confortable and the staff were courteous. It has an excellent location right in the heart of Weimar close to all of the major sights. I would certainly consider staying here if I traveled to Weimar again.

Best description I have ever seen and it was perfectly true. Great arty interior and all the no-fuss facilities the self-sufficient traveller or visitor would need.
