This location is so underrated. We chose it for it&'s nice look but were overwhelmed with it&'s value for money. Lambros is the finest guy! So welcoming and helpful, extremely nice and made our stay so pleasant. The distance into town is a nice walk with an easy access path. Loved villa Matta will be back for sure

Actually stayed at the second property, Hermes Hotel, had amazing scenery of the ocean. Room was clean and really comfortable. Nick was great, will help you with anything. Spot had its own cafe bar and was walking distance to the town and to the beach. Great stay for sure, and amazing value.

Located walking distance from the pier, beach, restaurants and bus station it&'s completely central yet noiseless too. Staff were super friendly and also the room was nicely decorated and extremely clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome service and atmosphere. Located completely in between the village and the beach (go out during the night and swim off the hangover the next day). Friends of mine have stayed at villa mata previously and have only ever said good things. I'm happy to say that the villa Mata definitely lived up to expectation. If you're considering going to ios you need to stay with lambros at the villa mata.

Felt like I was staying with family. The spot was very inviting as nicely as the staff (Poppy and Mr. Poppy) were great. They pick you up and drop you off at either the airport or the docks which is such a bonus. They are not rated the greatest in Santorini for nothing!

Great facilities, extremely clean (they were going to clean our room on the second day of our stay but we said it was cool), secure (there is a secure in each room). The employees have really fantastic English and are extremely friendly. I came home drunk at 6. 30am with no key and Lambros bounded out of bed in about 2. 5 seconds to open my door for me. Only a ten minute walk to town (via the stairs) which was shorter than the other place we stayed. Lambros is often around for a chat and came out with us one of the nights. Fantastic place.
