Firstly, we stayed in a double room, which was lockable so that's always going to be secure. The location of the hostel is actually on the other side of the island to the port town of Ermopoulis, on Galissas beach. The small town of Galissas is lovely, with a couple of small marketplaces inside 100m of the hostel and various reasonably priced cafes and restaurants. The town lacks in an ATM. Likes are numerous. The place is really a hotel. Tony is a really nice bloke- he was always helpful with info on what to do and see. Wifi was useful. Rooms were clean and tidy. Towels, bed linen free.

Tony was willing to pick me up from the ferry, since the hotel is not conveniently located to harbor. He was willing to supply any information I needed. Room was spacious, really clean, small balcony, eating places and beach in immediate vicinity.

The quality of the room, the friendlyness of the staff, the noiseless and stunning location, the private balcony, the typical cycladic decoration. I stayed longer because I loved it so much. I highly recommand this place.

It's lovely, with a wooden balcony with blu chairs. Beds are big and you can have a very good breakfast downstairs, in a little bar were syros inhabitants meet to have a talk.

I liked everything about it. It's in a nice quiet part of the island, right in front of the beach, breathtaking scenery, endless sunsets, everybody is nice and helpful. If I go back to Syros again, I'd stay here again, not only for the location but also because of the kindness of the staff.
