Mel is really trying to do everything she can to create your stay enjoyable. The home is very nice like a typical carribean wooden house.

One of the greatest hostels we&'ve stayed at during our year out. Mel is an exceptional hostess who goes out of her way to supply advice and make you feel welcome. Hostel is clean and cozy and is a short, low-cost taxi cab ride to the nice beaches.

Mel the owner is the most helpful owner we met in 10 months of travelling. Excellent to get you started on the ins and outs of the island, my girlfriend and I were really glad we stayed and even stayed an extra night. Great low price food at the end of the road. We also met individuals who had stayed previously and they thought exactly the same. We regarded Mel as a friend when we left, not several owners go the extra mile.
