They pick you up whether or not you want the taxi service or not. But, it made finding a taxi so much easier. Right after getting off the plane the hustle an bustle is intimidating and I am from NYC. You can talk him down if you want.

Large rooms with bath. English speaking employees. a very good crowd of poeple are drawn there. decent extremely close to town center (20 mins). large homely common room. large kitchen. I especially liked Carlos who drives the visitors to and from the airport and the Grand Bus Terminal for fantastic rates

Staff is extremely helpful and kind. They offered us a lot of fantastic ideas of items to do on our trip, information on other hostels, and even entertained us with a song!

We only stayed one night, arrived late and left early, so did not get much of an impression, it seemed fine to us and would stay again.
