Clean room, centrally situated fantastic for 1 or 2 nights stay in Hong Kong. employees were nice and room had everything we needed. Chungking Mansions is also extremely interesting.

I liked the location, as it&'s on nathan road and only a 10 minute walk to the star ferry. There is a real down to earth really feel at the chunking mansions exactly where the china guest home is. As soon as you walk into chunking mansions, your met with an international onslaught of vibe, colour, smell and lifes offers.

I stayed at their sister property, Yan Yan China House, soon after booking for New China Guest House, for nine days in late October. For the price, it&'s extremely hard to argue with anything offered. Chungking Mansion, described by The Economist as being like Mos Eisley Spaceport, was an incredibly accurate depiction. The Indian and Turkish food on the ground floor made the stay all of the better. The bed was small for my 6&'1&" frame, as properly as the room was incredibly tiny, but there was something quite satisfying about the close quarters. If you&'re looking for high-end, comfortable, exquisite places to lay your head, look elsewhere. If you&'re looking for an incredibly interesting, cheap, enjoyable base from which to explore, I can think of no much better place. And also the Wireless was fast and great, which was nice.
