The holiday accommodation was charming. The staff wee warm and friendly and helpful. Anita was completely professional and wildly funny.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was inside an excellent 30 minutes walk to most of the points of interest on the Buda side of Budapest and inside 5 minutes of an excellent market place exactly where you can by Hungarian meats and cheese. The holiday accommodation was also inside 5 minutes walk of an excellent strip of restaurants that catered to tourist. The employees were helpful and spoke English really well. It was basic to get into the property at any time of day with no hassle.

I was my second stay at Kalvin House, and if possible, the standard of the location was even better than before. The hotel is VERY CENTRALLY located, my room had air conditioning, the employees was friendly and helpful along with the breakfast verstalite and delicious. A GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

Neat and clean with an excellent location near resturants, theLiberty Bridge and National Museum. Fantastic value for money in a pretty period building.

Relaxed breakfasts - not rushed - friendly staff. Very close to centre - reminded me of pensiones in Italy 30 years ago - so refreshing to move away from faceless hotels.
