Excellent location- walking distance to shops and sights, close to the nightlife. Massive common areas oozing character. Superb self catering facilities. Clean. Staff are really warm and friendly and informative. Cheap.

Great character and atmosphere. Lots of cozy sofas in the common region exactly where you can hang around. Really helpful staff - they helped us with all of our Blue Lagoon, Golden Circle, Northern Lights tour and FlyBus booking. Good connection with the tour operators and we could make a booking just 15min or 30min prior to the tour departed. Close to the city centre and most principal attractions are within walking distance. Hostel faces a snow-capped mountain, as nicely as the view is great.

Absolutely brilliant location to stay. Lovely sea views, large kitchen, super friendly staff and bar staff, comfy, cosy, lots of interesting books to borrow and huge old sofas to curl up on. Candelit bar, spotlessly clean, individual bed lights, very reasonably priced beer, lots of cooking space, a couple of minutes walk to the town centre and nearest supermarket, a stones throw from the sea. Individual keys.

Hostel was possibly the most funky I have ever stayed in. . a lot of character and different styling very nicely decorated and a fun spot to stay. Fantastic view from the front windows over looking the snow capped mountains

Great location, nice restaurant/bar/diner/relaxing place, really good food (try the sherry trifle afterwards), and an awesome and helpful stuff. Was an awesome Christmas and New Year&'s eve.
