We appreciated a lot the welcome as nicely as the assistant brought during our stay. The breakfasts were great and substantial, the clean room as nicely as the extremely silent place. We were also near backwaters and near several restaurants.

At Venice Homestay you uncover lovely hosts and household who go out of their way to create your stay enjoyable. Honest and helpful. We enjoyed tasty Indian breakfasts each day. Matthew and Thomas arranged activities for us and we had a exceptional time on our 4hr backwaters tour and tuk tuk tour in the surrounding area. Thank you again. It is well located in a noiseless back street with greenery around and a Hindu temple nextdoor. The household is very warm and friendly and helpful in arranging all a traveler might need in Aleppey. Their suggested village tour on a canoe was a bit too long and a bit too slow but nonetheless worth it. The cost for the clean rooms and nice environment is definitely very good.

Very central, handy location. Clean, modern rooms, with wi-fi and cable tv, and most importantly - perhaps the nicest bathroom of any place that I stayed in 2 months in India. Nice owners and staff, who assisted with all local arrangements, including a cool backwaters boat tour. Very useful driver and guide (Kabeer). Extremely suggested if you are in Alleppey.

All the reviews are true--this location is superb in and of itself, and AMAZING given the price. The room is spacious, clean, and smells great, the home is immaculate and secluded from the significant road, so the entire setting is one of a calm oasis. Continental breakfast, functional wireless internet, consistent hot water, along with the staff are incredibly helpful--one lent us 20 rupees change to pay the rickshaw driver, along with the owner arranged a car to take us to the beach and back to Fort Cochin in less than 5 minutes. If I were to return to Allepey I would not want to stay anywhere else.
