The Hostel was central and in a safe area. But after two nights a had insect bites all over me so I think there were some kinds of insects in the matress or in the room. The stuff is friedly, but the owner trys to charge extra for everything. E. g. "you can do the landry in the bathroom- 100 Rupees" or "i can call you a taxi to the Airport- extra charge for me and for the phonecall". So after two days a felt like a walking dollar sign. |

Excellent place to stay. Good location for the MG Road area of the city and the people were really friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay there again and recommend to others. |

Though I arrived at midnight, the owner received me with her gentle smile. She cooked my breakfast. That's the most delicious dish of all I've ever eaten in India. If I have a chance to go to Bangalore next time, I will stay here. |

A lovely place to stay, and very nice hosts who take care of you and will help you whenever you need something, or who are there just for a small chat. The rooms are simple, but clean and with all facilities required. The (mainly Indian style) Breakfast is good and tasty (thanks, Sumathi!). And in case something is really missing, Sumathi and Jay will help you further. The location is rather calm, but still in the middle of a nice quarter of Bangalore with everything needed in daily life just around the corner (shops, banks, restaurants, travel agency, laundry, . . ), and MG Road area is still in walking distance (15min). If you want to stick to western style of living, then better go to one of the international standard hotels, but if you are ready and eager to experience and also live Indian life, then this is the right place for you. I myself enjoyed my 3 weeks stay very much! |

Sumathi, the guest house mother, was really really nice and tried to help us as much as possible. It was not the cheapest accomodation i have stayed in but for Bangalore it was ok. |
