The location is nice, not far from the train station and not far from the well known temple. They give you a very good map of the city, really convenient to find everything you want.

THe employees was really helpful, happy assist when my partner was sick, along with the hotel has a outstanding view from its rooftop hotel, which feels a globe away from the dusty chaotic streets of madurai below. As they had accidently doublebooked our room, they let us stay inside the minisuite at our original rooms apparent rate, (1900 rupees plus tax, again, Not the 1400odd rupees that it says on the site. )
