The service was very efficent and friendly. The location was wonderful and the rooms large, attractive and well maintained. . However, given I was paying for a deluxe room some things could have been a little better. ie the breakfast and more channel options for the TV. Also, some of the amenities could have been better eg the shower and toilet. Overall, though, I would recomend the Nicks Pension. |

The deluxe room was beautiful creating a perfect Balinese atmosphere- the staff were excellent with all the little touches of a top notch hotel!! Coffee was left on the balcony twice a day and on a night a mosquito coil always appeared too!! Had a great time there. |

Nick's Pension in Ubud is traditional Bali bungalow style accomodation and certainly value for money. We stayed in both the superior and deluxe accomodaton after being upgraded by management at no extra cost. The staff are both friendly and helpful and the property is situated quite close to the main streets of Ubud but far enough away for some privacy. The rooms are quite clean however the bathrooms probably need upgrading. |

Don't stay here! They have bed bugs! I stayed in room 103 (a superior room with a/c) and woke up to find bed bugs in bed with me, full of my blood. I have never been so freaked out in my life. The mattress was covered in them. The staff let me move rooms but did not take the problem seriously. The next couple that got that room literally woke up covered in bugs. the staff finally took it seriously, but that room is clearly infested, and the staff have no idea how to handle the bugs, and the wood on the walls gives them a good place to hide. The whole resort will probably have bugs in the next few months because they don't properly clean the sheets and towels, which spreads them around. It's not worth the risk! It's not that nice of a hotel to begin with. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!! |

We've stayed in Nick's pension in Ubud for a week, i really recommend it, friendly staff, nice breakfast included, swimming pool and complementary tea awaits for you every morning :-) We stayed at the rooms with the riverside valley view: absolutely amazing and an unforgetable experience for a stay in Bali! They also provide a driver for a fair price (make sure you bargain, much better than the transport-offers you will get on the streets of ubud) that will take you wherever you want to go in the area. I highly recommend this place! |

The staff were very friendly and made you feel at home! The rooms were very clean, a bit basic but set in one of the most tranquil settings I have ever been in. |

I ended up staying at NIcks hidden cottages rather than the pension. In the middle of no where perfect for chilling out. Take a torch though because it is difficult to find your way back at night. |
