I loved how this spot seemed far more like a spacious, open home instead of a cramped hostel or hoity-toity expensive hotel. It was clean, airy and charming, but what really impressed me was the friendliness of the staff. They helped me get all of my tours set up, suggested options for me that weren&'t even covered in their packages (so I know they weren&'t just trying to sell their goods), and did everything they could to show that they genuinely cared about my stay. They even shared their food with me when I was waiting for a tour bus and didn&'t have time to run out and grab some thing to eat. I felt like one of the family. The location is pretty good, too. It&'s not really close to Marlioboro St which is the principal street in town, but for a low-cost tricycle ride you can easily get there. What it IS close to is some of the most suggested restaurants and cafes in Yogya, which suits me much much better anyway. Over all, I thought this was a great value. The rooms in Yogya seem to be a bit far more pricey than some other SE Asian cities, but from what I compared it to inside the area, it was the really best value for money by far.

We had a very nice stay at the Venezia! The staff were very knowledgable and friendly. The accommodations were nice and clean, along with the rooms were very spacious and well kept. Be sure that you know the address and general directions, as our cab had a hard time finding it. I don&'t really feel that road names are generally known inside the city, and cab cabs regularly had difficulty finding places outside of the key attractions. The Venezia itself is well located, and close to the key city area.

This hostel is fantastic, super clean, a/c in the rooms, free breakfast and helpful staff who speak english. The location is great, effortless to find and close to hotels that have pools which you can use for around a dollar. local restaurants within 2 minute walking distance.

The setting at Venezia Homestay is absolutely fabulous. You really feel home as soon as you step in the vast lobby. Moreover, the employees makes you really feel like you are portion of a family. Location is just ideal with a lot of restaurants and bars around as nicely as the major sights of Jogja almost at the door step.

Nice, extremely Nice. I adore this place. I felt like at home. the environment is silent and comfortable. the whole team are pretty and will answer all your questions. it is extremely clean and I advise you the banana pencake for the breakfast it is completely delicious. for me it&'s a super great location to recommend to all travelers. Everything about this hotel was nice. They have a wide variety of rooms offered so you can choose one to suit your budget. I got the basic room which was still nicely furnished, comfortable, and equipped with an air-conditioner. The staff, both the property owner and also the workers, were every single friendly, willing to help, and exceptionally knowledgeable. The services provided free of charge were a key bonus. Breakfast was great, laundry washing was free, there was internet, and they would set up tours, and so on etc. The hotel itself is lovely as well.
