Sleek interior with great furniture and amenities. Felt like a hotel I should have paid three times as much to stay at! Extremely near to Newgrange and not to far away from Drogheda. Lots of outdoorsy stuff to do in the countryside.

Ability to use grill to Barbeque food. Proximity to Newgrange and Knowth. Superb areas in which to relax. Computer/internet access. Bike rentals. Hearty breakfast.

Wished I had a lot more time here, I really liked it. It was very spacious and pretty and nice, and also the breakfast selection is TERRIFIC! ! yum! Was expecting a normal hostel set-up but it felt a lot more like a hotel (towel, soaps, television in my room). One a lot more shout-out to the delcious breakfast. Also super close to Newgrange if that is what you are in town for.

Newgrange Lodge was an excellent accommodation. My travel buddy and I loved the fact that it was so clean, safe, and quiet and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and the location is perfect for visiting the Newgrange monument, but it's not the most convenient to get to and away. It's a pity for the owners that it is so far off the beaten path, because it's really a great place to stay. We loved that it was isolated, it was nice to have the run of the place.
