The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We were happy with the location. Very effortless to walk to O&'Connell Street. It was a little bit further to some of the traveler areas, but we didn&'t mind the walk.

This is probably the best value for money you'll find anywhere on the whole island of Ireland - Im Irish and ive travelled around a good bit so you can trust me on that. Im speaking for the double ensuite deal here, so maybe this doesnt apply to the dorms, but 25euro for a good clean room, tea and coffee, AND a good irish breakfast in the morning is outstanding. But a nice bar downstairs and 3 euro for a pint of Guinness makes Barrys one of the best places Ive ever stayed. You couldnt do better in Dublin.

Not the greatest location and the building was old (which means no elevator). but the staff was exceptional and the breakfast was really good.
