Location was exceptional but extremely difficult to find this hostel and a long way from any services. Almost certainly far better to stay in Killarney town and just make day trips to the national park.

The location is stunning, perfect for hikers on the kerry way, or as i did for 4 days just hiking in the area. there is a little shop, but bring food or at least bread. the hostel is very basic, but ok. if you are lucky and share the hostel with a group of hikers with guitars it's so much fun(like i did one night). if you happen to be there alone it's very quiet.

The owner was very nice - a perfectly nice and warmhearted woman. I enjoyed the very clean bed rooms as well.
