Great atmosphere - extremely warm and friendly staff and people. The park around the hostel is gorgeous. A lot of facilities (great kitchen, coffee machine, common room. ). Clean and comfortable rooms

The exterior of the hostel was definitely gorgeous and its location 5 mins outside of Killarney was great.

Massive kitchen and meals area. Plenty of showers, and clean. Attracts an older clientele who are there for the walks around killarney and the ring of kerry - they're all nice enough, but means that the 'vibe' of the place is a little subdued. Also a fair way out of killarney itself, but a great base for the ring of kerry. Would go back

The hostel was a little outside of town, but the amazing views more than made up for that! The hostel staff were all friendly and very very helpful. The large TV and reading room surpassed the expectations I had from the pictures on the website - particularly with the lovely comfy sofas and good dvd collection. We had expected bike hire to be available, but we found some in town for a cheap price - I would recommend biking rather than walking to Killarney, but if you're used to walking, then its a very pretty track. Finally, the hostel was lovely and clean- I walked round in my socks all weekend! The rooms were perfectly adequate and I would certainly recommend this hostel to both single travellers and families alike.

This hostel was extremely cold, the water for the showers was luke-warm at finest and computers had no USB ports or any way to download/ upload files. Very annoying.
