The staff were lovely and so helpful. It was a very peaceful, beautiful hotel. Nice location just down the hill from Assisi town so you are a little away from the hubbub and noise but close enough to walk comfortably (10 minutes) though its uphill so you need to be a little fit otherwise take the bus. We had the best view of the basilica from our bedroom window and were surrounded by Umbrian countryside. There was a lovely terrace to sit out on at the end of the day with a very reasonably priced wine/beer and book. |

Good hotel down the hill from Assisi town. Easy enough to walk up the pathway. Great balcony for afternoon drinks. Friendly and helpful staff. |

This hostel is wonderful. The location is perfect for enjoying all of Assisi, most importantly the peaceful atmosphere St Francis himself desired. The facilities are four star, the staff friendly, helpful and encouraging, the garden location and view unbelievable. Anyone traveling with a group should look here first, there is room for youth to run and play, a chapel for Mass if you travel with a priest, a good restaurant and a nice common room with cafe available! I will go back. |

Located inbetween train station and main township, easy walking distance to both. Friendly and very helpful staff. Quiet, out of the main centre. |
